Types of Care Provided<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the School Year:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A school calendar may be obtained in the Brighton’s School\u2019s Main Office. Care is only scheduled for the days that the children are supposed to attend school, although care is usually available for most in-service days and scheduled closings <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Year Old Kindergarten Program:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Brighton\u2019s 4K only operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so care will be available at Brighton School on these days for after school. On Monday and Friday, full day child care will be available at an alternate Kid\u2019s Club Program \u2013 Bristol, Salem, Riverview, Trevor-Wilmot or Wheatland Kid\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School Care:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2:20 pm – 6:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School there will be many different board games and puzzles for children to work and play with. There will be an art area set up with crayons, markers, paints, scissors, glue and other art supplies. There will also be other indoor activities from which to choose from. Occasionally, the children may be allowed to watch videos (rated PG or lower), and use computers or the Nintendo Wii. Weather permitting, we will go outside to play on the playground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Release:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

11:20 pm – 6:00 pm<\/strong> (depending on the school calendar Brighton School may not have any of these scheduled<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children will be allowed to do the same activities they would do on any other after school day. We will occasionally go on a field trip on these days or bring in a special movie and\/or snack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full Day Child Care:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Grades:<\/strong> 4 Year Old Kindergarten \u2013 6th Grade
Days of Service:<\/strong> Monday through Friday
Hours of Operation:<\/strong> 6:30 AM TO 6:00 PM <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On teacher in-service days and other days where the school may be closed, care may be provided for an extra fee. Approximately 2 weeks prior to the day off, Kid\u2019s Club will send home a sign up\/information form about the full day childcare options available. A minimum of 8 children need to sign up for care on these days for the care to be provided here at the Brighton School. If we do not get 8 children signed up for care, no care may be provided or care may be available at an alternate Kid\u2019s Club location: <\/em>Bristol<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Riverview<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Salem<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Trevor-Wilmot<\/em><\/a>, and <\/em>Wheatland.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
