Types of Care Provided:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

During the School Year:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A school calendar may be obtained in the Salem School\u2019s Main Office. Care is only scheduled for the days that the children are supposed to attend school, although care is usually available for most in-service days and scheduled closings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Year Old Full Day Child Care Program: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

6:30 AM to 6:00PM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full day child care program may involve part or all of programs listed below depending on when your child arrives and is picked up. The most essential part of the program being the Joyce\u2019s Preschool Pre-Kindergarten Program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before School Care:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

6:30AM to 8:20<\/strong>AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children will be allowed to play with the many activities found in the Kid\u2019s Club classrooms. There will be many different board games and puzzles for them to work on and play with. There will be an art area set up with crayons, markers, paints, scissors, glue and many other art supplies. There will also be many other indoor activities from which to choose from. If you would like your child to have breakfast at Kid\u2019s Club in the morning, please feel free to bring in a healthy breakfast.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4K Wrap-Around Care:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before PM 4K 8:25AM to 12:45PM or After AM 4K 11:15AM to 3:25<\/strong>PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During 4K\nwrap-around care, the children will be included in a Joyce\u2019s Preschool\npre-kindergarten program. The program\u2019s activities will include educational\ncenter time, a daily project, story time, group time, large motor activities\nand if possible an outside play time. Between the AM and PM wrap-around\nprograms, the children will have lunch followed by a short rest period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on which\nclass your child is in, the AM group or the PM group, our staff will walk them\nto and from their 4 Year Old Kindergarten Program. At the end of the school\nday, the older children will join the 4 year olds for after school activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

3:20PM to 6:00PM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After School, as in the morning, there will be many different board games and puzzles for them to work and play with. There will be an art area set up with crayons, markers, paints, scissors, glue and many other art supplies. There will also be many other indoor activities from which to choose from. Occasionally, the children may be allowed to watch videos (rated PG or lower) and use computers or the Nintendo Wii. Weather permitting we will go outside to play on the playground. In the winter, we may go sledding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Release:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1:30PM to 6:00PM (Depending on the school calendar Salem School may not have any of these scheduled)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children will be allowed to do the same activities they would do on any other after school day. We will occasionally go on a field trip on these days or bring in a special movie and snack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full Day Child Care:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Grades:<\/strong> 4K through 6th
Days of Service<\/strong>: Monday Through Friday
Hours:<\/strong> 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM

On teacher in-service days and other days where the school may be closed, care may be provided for an extra fee. Approximately 2 weeks prior to the day off, Kid\u2019s Club will send home a sign up\/information form about the full day child care options available. A minimum of 8 children need to sign up for care on these days for the care to be provided here at the Salem School. If we do not get 8 children signed up for care, no care may be provided or care may be available at an alternate Kid\u2019s Club location: <\/em>Bristol<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Riverview<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Trevor-Wilmot<\/em><\/a>, and <\/em>Wheatland.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
